Bearing clearances

Coming up with .0030-.0035 on my main bearing clearances.Everything i seen on the net says this is too much.Factory tolerences are .0004-.0015.How do i decrease the clearance......readings were takin with main studs torqued to 80ft/lbs

sounds like you need +10 bearings.

.01 would be too much...,.there is a +.001 bearing but that isnt enough
