Hey people. I just did a pu swap on my 98 gt and after getting it started it the accessory belt keeps walking itself off the water pump after just a minute of ide. I have absolutely no clue what to do i’ve even gone as far as replacing the crank pulley but no luck. It was not doing this before the swap. Did i miss something when doing the swap pully related?

what he said^^
stand on the side of the car and look across at the various pulleys and see what is not on the same alignment. you can probably spot it.

try to get a straight edge that is thin enough to go between the pullies and the rad fan and make sure they are all in alignment.

Like RAU03MAH stated, short and long waterpumps and compensated pulleys exist. If you changed any pulley, do what these guys suggested, stand to the side and eyeball the belt alignment
