That sucks. Do you have a build thread?

Do not know just lost oil pressure on final pass and that was it. Motor didnt look that bad just as a oil starved motor would. What sucked was the crank took the beating from the heat.

Fastest I've gone in any car.....uhh get ready for the most inconsistant time slip you've ever seen......lets just say my first weekend in a low 7 second car took some getting used to.....had to let off at the 1/8 cuz I didnt have NHRA license at the time....but I still got in trouble for going too fast lol.

Hell yeah^

I'm bumping this thread... Don't feel like finding my slips but second time out ever at the track went decent. Pulled a 14.0 at 93 with a 1.9. Only got 2 runs in so that sucked. The second run I just had all wrong from the start. From doing the burnout in first to not (I guess) having the shifter all the way into first and having that lovely grind so I got a +2 reaction lol. But hey I'm happy, I improved over 1 second from last year. And that 6k launch on slicks is like a freakin drug. I admit I'm more of a highway runner, but that was a lot of fun today. And I'm definitely hooked

Looks like I'll have to beat 9.7 next year to take the #1 spot from the current lead holder.

Gave drag racing a shot last Wed. night. Here's my best run:
14.955 @ 93 mph with a 2.277 60'

Motor is basically stock as I've been more focused on building a car for track days.

Relevant mods:
Catless cat-back, CAI, removed smog pump, 3.55 gears, advanced timing.
Springs, Shocks/Struts, SFCs, LCAs, removed rear seat, racing seats, 18" 275 NT05s

I had a ton of fun. I just love to race no matter what it is. You learn so much more about your car when you're on the track (drag or road racing).
