i decided to add a pic of maybe the best stang of each bodystyle to make the decision easier.i just got random pics.

good lord what a hard choice. For me it depends on what use I would have for the car.........for the best body to race in it would be the 87-93 fox car hands down. On the other side for a street cruiser the 94 all the way to the new edge 04 year is a kick ass body. I like the 05+ but not owning one as of yet I would not put that in my vote category.

Bottom line since mustangs are primarily used for drag racing, I guess I would have to say a 90's model Fox body coupe

a lot of people consider 65-70 the same bodystyle but theres too many differences so i just split them off. the 4 eyes had a lot of revisons , but thyre all pretty much the same, so sorry for some of u that may disaprove of the bodystyles. best i thought of :dunno:

I will go with the 67-68 Fastback. The coups are just not for me in 67-68. It was a tough choice between 65-66 and 67-68 Fastbacks.

I think you guys are getting off the question a bit when you say 03-04 cobra. If I'm right this is suppose to be favorite BODY not favorite overall car. If it was overall car I would vote Terminator without a QUESTION. However I think he means body, just the body not taking into account motor / trans / rear ......or any of that stuff. If I'm right , then the 03-04 Cobra isn't much diffrent from a 99-04 Mustang in general other than a slightly diffrent hood, front bumper and those SMALL things. :dunno:

correct sir :thumb: im talking about overall best bodystyle. like me for instance the 69-70 mustang fastbacks are my favorite cause of the mean musclecar look.so yeah the best favorite bodystyle of all time not a car in particular, even though a particular car does help that bodystyle. get me????

OK I thought that was what you were after here. I have always loved the fox cars, especially the coupes. I know most people think of them as bread box cars on wheels........but there has always been an appeal to me with them. I cant say what it is its just those straight body lines and the cat eyes front that is sexy :boink:
