Biggest sized tires on the 17X8 bullitt wheels

whats the biggest that will fit? I heard that Nitto 275/40/17s work, but what else does? If you got pics, post em.

275 is pushing it for sure...but I have heard of ppl cramming 295s on a 9" rim.

255/45-17 is whats recommended for a 17x8 wheel at tirerack.com. a 275 is a little over 3/4" wider than a 255, it could cause the tire to wear badly in the middle. i agree with Matt though 275 would be pushing it. ive got 265's on my 9's up front and the widest ive been told i "should" go is a 275.

275 is great on a 9" I know ppl run 285, and I have heard of people doing 295 and some even wider, but I dont like that big buldge look to begin with plus like you said tire wear might be a issue.

IMO 8" Should be 265 widest, 275 should fit.
