Body paint for calipers?

Im wanting to paint my cobra calipers to match the exterior but i will have to use my base paint. Will that take any heat that the calipers produce?

Most caliper paints state that they are high heat. Probably a reason for that.

yes you need high temp paint.
I'd also put some high temp clear on it afterwords.

there are companies that powder coat in custom colors. its not cheap but they can match just about any color ;) other than that youre pretty much stuck with the colors that are available :dunno:

VHT caliper paint is good stuff!!!!

I would rather have that than a color that did not match the red on my cobra ;)

Use duplicolor ceramic paint. Did that on mine and it looks good. Just do enough layers so it doesn't look like it was "brushed" on...
