Today I went into the fender wells and pulled out the cruise control module and vacuum canister and lines and the solenoids for the smog/egr vacuum system. Also pulled the airbag module and passenger airbag. My car’s clock spring was bad and the air bag alarms went off constantly, also the cruise didn’t work either. I switch to an aftermarket wheel hub and pulled all that shit out. No more alarm. My car came with an OR x-pipe and frpp shorties. The smog pump wasn’t connected to anything, all the valves for the heads/cats were removed already. The egr was still plugged in but I am assume just to trick the ecu, but I will have it all tuned out. Just trying to finish up little things so my engine is plug and play. Some things holding me up.

1. Coolant crossover tube is shot. It’s been discontinued so I’m not sure what to do about that.

2. I need the flex fuel lines under the hood not sure what to order.

3. I have 190lph pump with adjustable pressure regulator 24# injectors, and a calibrated maf. Hoping that will do with my 331 with HCI. Would rather not fork out 400$ for 30# injectors and exchange the maf.

4. still need to take my drive shaft in to get the new yoke and u joints swapped on and balanced.

I went to throw in the BBK 190lph kit I got in a package deal with my top end on OfferUp. Turns out the car had a 255lph in it. haha. So if anyone wants a 190lph hit me up. I just replaced the filters and the seals and the tank grommet since it was out.

My trick flow sn95 throttle body adapter finally showed up after 4 months. I also got the TMI tweed seats done the “charcoal” is a little lighter colored than the interior of the car, but it looks awesome. Putting that stuff together was a PITA. Basically rug burn city on the tips of all my fingers and took like 5 hours. Got everything installed and plug in, only to find out I have the common “stripped seat track gear” for the forward/backward motion. The motor spins fine and seat moves up/down. Anyone here replace the gear on the threaded rod to the motor with any luck?EB8C1151-146E-462F-8DBB-DCA002489424.jpegE85A6823-98E2-4204-9840-D49FAB53406E.jpeg5C09C515-33F4-49DE-A077-147314233754.jpegAB318E5C-F018-4A3E-80E8-AA7D573DC926.jpeg7B73290C-6956-4DF0-BF55-376F1EEC7CDB.jpeg

I may have missed it, but do you have a link to the paint you used for the interior? Mine is looking it's age for sure.

now your aware that there is a black and a charcoal black color that are close but still VERY different right?

Thanks for the heads-up, I did catch that. I'm wondering which of the colors is closest to my Opal Gray. It doesn't look "bad", but could certainly look better.

The SEM midnight black is closer to the dark charcoal ford interior. I'm not sure what color you would need for the opal gray. I know sem has a landau black that is better for the 94-98 factory black. My car had an interior swap with a 99 special edition "midnight black" but the sem color midnight black is a lot more charcoal.

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted an update. Since the last time I’ve posted. I rebuilt the seat track on the power seat. Now it functions perfectly. I will say that the new foam isn’t broken in yet and sits a bit higher than the seats I took out. I think it’s a combination of things. Old seats were manual racks, and they were not the sport buckets. My new aluminum drive shaft with Dana spicer u-joints and yokes has come in. My engine builder updated me on Friday last week and I should be getting the engine back this Friday 3/19/2021. I might be able to reach my goal of having it running by my birthday 3/23, probably a stretch. I’ve installed my moates chip with a Ted Jenkins tune to get me up and running through break in period. Once I have a few months on it I will probably take it to Arizona Dyno Chip on Tempe, AZ for a tune. I got the new fuel lines and adapters in. Everything is just about set and ready for the engine to be dropped back in.

I know I am going to need a EGR block off plate for the 94-95 specific. I used to see them on eBay but now I can seem to find them. I don’t have the means to fab one myself. Can anyone point me in the right direction to find one?

I think I got one of the last block-off plates and "foolers" on eBay a while back...haven't installed it yet. I keep reading so much conflicting info. I'll leave it alone for now, but have the kit put back should I need it.

Car is looking great man!

Scott - did you have a chance to see what the SEM gray paint code is?

You can use a fuel pump block off plate for a 351W as an egr delete plate. They are identical.

Thanks man! I have the EGR and all the functions of smog pump turned off in the tune, just need the plate to cap the port.

Finally got my engine back on Thursday night. It took while to get the oil pan and flywheel delivered. Sucks covid has the supply chain so messed up. I got it dropped in Friday afternoon, but went camping all weekend and haven’t touched it since. I’m still waiting on valve covers to come, hopefully Wednesday. I also ordered ARP bolts for the new flywheel and pressure plate. Hopefully have the car buttoned up this weekend, and shooting for first start 5/14/21. I might need help remembering where all the temp and pressure sensors get threaded in. Lol. It’s been like 6-7 months since I pulled the engine out. I ordered these valve covers, only ones I could find that I thought might work. If anyone can chime in on them let me know how they worked. I read somewhere I might need to grind off the baffles under the fill tube to clear the rockers but other than that they should work.

My new flywheel was balanced with my rotating assembly, but the flywheel nor the crank is marked. Can I just install it or does it have to be aligned a specific way? Also my canton oil pan came with a dipstick. How do I plug the hole in the block where the factory dip stick gets press fit in?

Thanks for the help!
