Broken coil/power steering res mount?

Ive noticed that this bracket is cracked all the way through on my 97 GT.Should i replace it now or will i need a different bracket when i do a P.I. Swap in a few months?
Also how could this break when its bolted to the cyl head and block?Thanks jnadvance!

What kind of pi swap are you doing? Full pi? Pi headswap? May have just broken from age. Just a piece of aluminum that corroded probably. If you need one let me know. I got one
