They have put all the pads on sale and buffers (including kits) on sale for the next 2 weeks. http://www.autogeek.net/buffers-and-pads.html I'm going to pick up the edge 2000 pads and adaptor (or maybe their 6" pad kit) this system is awesome check out the vid http://www.edgepads.com/videoBB.htm
Shit man....... now I'm gonna have to buy those!!! lol, that's interesting. Thanks for showing us the deal. Do they work just as well on the PC? I need to learn how to do the high speed stuff. What's the best way to polish heavy scratches>?? Or, say I'm doing a black bmw with serious wipe marks and swirls, would these be helpfull, or is the terry's about the same. Anyone have some feedback for me?
How to use the PC with swirl remover (watch the vid) http://www.autogeek.net/po.html They work great with the PC... The Lake Counrty pads are great what the edge 2000 pads and adaptor do is eliminate the backing place and velco system used. Also the edge pads are double sided so you buy 1 edge pad for $17.xx and you get 2 in one (just flip it over) with the standard backing plate and velco you would have to buy 2 pads @10.xx each if you need the same type of pad (say 2 polishing pads).
Also invest in some paintes tape *if* you decide to start detailing on the side for $$. Taping off the trim will save on clean up time by not having to try and clean off some polish stained trim and emblems. Also tape off your key hole as the polish will remove the paint right off of it..............TRUST ME
