So I just purchased a 302 Boss block from jegs. What piston, rod and crank combo should I run. I'm building the car for spray. No other mods. I want to run 100-150 shot maybe more. I have GT40 heads with crane cams beehive springs. 1.7 roller rockers, chromoly pushrods. On my car now I have gt40 upper and lower intake with cobra injectors. Could I run that setup on the Boss block as well and still be able to spray a lot

Buys a block that can handle 1200-1500hp... Builds a 275hp engine.

What a waste.

This is my first Mustang lol I'm not entirely sure what combo or setup to use. Hence why I'm asking for help. If you can't offer any advice or help then you are no use to me or this thread

Yeah gt40 stuff is on the 5.0 thats on in it now. Just a junkyard build for that car because I didn't think I was going to do anything else

Ya know... I love telling the most knowledgeable people on the forum to get out of my threads.

Leave your GT40 stuff on your current engine. Don't bother putting it on the boss block.

As for what you should do with your engine. That depends on what you want.

You are going to have to get the block machined. So you might as well get some cubes out of it.. 331, 347, or big bore if you want. . I said start over because the gt40 stuff will hold you back. Where you go with it really depends. On how much money you want to spend and your goal. .
