Anybody have this setup? I did the greyish/silver FR500 17x9’s & 10’s before. Didn’t dislike but wasn’t crazy about. Thinking some classic chrome might look kinda retro-cool. LMR has the 17x9’s for $200 a pop

Had satin Bullit wheels on my yellow 98 when I got it Didn't like'em. Chrome might have been better. Went with staggered FR500s, black centers with aluminum lips. Much happier. But, you do what you like, it's your car.

I'm personally not a fan of different colored wheels. I like one color. Chrome especially. Cobra rims on the SN95. But Black or Gunmetal are nice too. The only ride I have with mixed colors is my SHO, Stock wheels, and that's because I haven't found any, I really like yet.

Chrome would certainly pop. Gun metal copperhead bullits look sick in deep dish.

Chrome always looks good on black, but I never really been a fan of GT wheels on a Cobra.

I loved my black bullets when I put them on in 2002 but after 10 years suddenly every sn had them and they were just not as fun.
Yeah I remember black with the polished lip being everywhere in the mid 2000s

That’s kinda where my head is at right now, too. The blacked-out is cool but it doesn’t have the same vibe as before for me. Mind you, I’m not against keeping it as is…. Maybe I’m reverting back to the 70’s and that once-classic look (when Cragar chrome wheels were the shit)!
Decisions, decisions!

When my green car had deep dish anthracite bullits every non mustang guy and or pseudo car guy would compliment them on the classic design or theyvloved thr gunmetal. Mustang guys would always turn their nose up lol.

I hear ya. Trends are cyclical; they come and go. Maybe chrome bullits will come back in style again ;-)

I may be the odd guy out, but I like chrome wheels. I think they look great on just about anything. The chrome would definitely separate all the black on your car.

I can agree to this for thr most part. 18" Chrome saleens and 18" 95 deep dish R wheels. Or 03/04 cobra wheels all look awesome in chrome
