I want the 10" wheel so I'll be getting the 15x10 but I don't know what backspacing to run. I will run 26" tires and would like for them to line up nicely with the fenders. Will a 5.5 backspacing do or is 6.5 more appropriate? Also what is our lug pattern, 5x4.5 or 5x4.75? Thanks

A couple of old pics of mine. Back spacing is 6.5 and that's also a 15x10 with a 295-50 (next is a 275-50 dr since these tires were free) and if i remember correctly the lug pattern is 5 x 4 1/2".

maybe it's just my eyes, but they seem to sit a lil inside the fender. is that due to the 6.5 back spacing. would 5.5 push them out more?

looks to me like if he hits a hard bump or launches hard he will cut the sidewalls? Do you want to make it so you have to roll your fenders when you run the tires?

the 26 inch is the diameter...what tread width do you plan on running?

Im probably looking at rolling my fenders with a 26x11.5 on a 9 inch wheels with 5.5BS so it doesnt scrub durring a hard launch.

a 295/50/15 is a 26.7x10.1x15 tire

back tires are actually flush with the car, i dont have them on now or i'd take pics. On the launch i'm sure they'd rub just not on my car since it has no balls ;), but on hard bumps (not great roads by me) I have yet to rub, only time i've had a problem was pulling into a store at an angle and the inside of the tires rubbed the inner wheel well.

Bluecobra - do ou have any pics of when your car had the 275's on the 10 inch wheel? that'd be cool if so.

Just go with a 6 inch backspacing and 26x11.5s Over on corral they were talking about those making it flush

You'd be surprised Hicks. These wheels are SUPER light. My friend wrapped his slicks aroun 15" v6 wheels and the pro stars were much lighter.

No sir. If you want to use them for stree purposes, you just need to get a street tire.

any tire that is stamped DOT can be run on the street. If you want all around performance, go with a drag radial.

The M/T ET Street Radial is a bad-ass street tire, BFG Drags are also another great tire that are a little more street oriented than the M/T's. The size you will want is the 275/50/15 and they will sit nice and flush.
