I'm guessing no but would you be able to convert to an electric one? Just let it run whenever the engine's on and then allow the stock solenoids to manage head/cat enrich so it works exactly like stock.

I replaced mine with an SKP unit from Rock Auto. If I can hijack this thread temporarily, I just installed this unit on a 1996 Cobra, and in testing it before buttoning up the fenderwell, noticed that (starting from cold) the fan seems to spin up OK, but I also noticed that the lead (see pic) going to the unit is pretty warm — i.e. seems much warmer than it should be. Is this a cause for concern? Does anyone know how many amps this unit should draw if working properly?

Unless I’m missing something, this shouldn’t be this difficult.

Go to the Cardone website. Click on Products, then Air Oumps. Then go to the Search window. Type in your year/make/model, then your location information.

So far I’m finding CarQuest, O’Reilly’s and AdvanceAuto have it. Maybe not at your local store, but you can have it shipped to your home or to whatever store is nearest to you. Good luck!

FWIW….
What happened to Cardone Industries?

First Brands Group has acquired 53-year-old Philadephia, Pennsylvania-based auto parts manufacturer Cardone Industries, cites the Philadelphia Business Journal. It's the second acquisition in 2023 for First Brands Group, which acquired Horizon Global Corp., for just under $50 million.Aug 1, 2023

But, here’s what my online searches are finding for you:

Congratulations, you found a part number but finding a part number doesn't mean the part is sitting on shelves anywhere. Take 10 more seconds to look at any of their listed suggested retailers and you will see that no one has anything in stock.

I did! And there was… at least when I first replied. It was at Advance Auto. I swear! I know what I saw++
They only had one and 9 people were looking at it so it must’ve been purchased.
But none of this matters because he found one and it’s a perfect fit. Cheers!
