Can't go into second gear

So i had to pull the motor and trans to redo my oilpan gasket and my rear main seal. Got everything buttoned back up and now I can not get into second or fourth gear without being at a complete stop. I do have a steeda adjustable clutch and have been trying to adjust it several times but it did not work. What else could be causing this and how would I go about fixing it?

Does it shift into first, third and fifth smoothly? If so it’s not the clutch. Do you have an aftermarket shifter? Check the rear shift stop. The shifter should not be touching it in second, fourth or reverse.

After some digging we replaced the bearing retainer and never put the race back within the new one. Trans coming out now and hopefully dosent need a rebuild.
