I just built my motor and now I got it running decent with the carb setup. Well every now and again I get a ticking and it sounds like it is coming form my timing cover. I took the valve cover off and there is a little slack on the passenger side chain on the top (top is with the guide, not tensioner) so it makes sense that there is a little slack but it seems like the noise could be from the chain slapping the chain guide. I am tempted to take the timing cover off and make sure everything is good.

Took the valve cover off and let it build oil pressure while cranking it over. Good news is that the chain tightens up with oil pressure. Bad news is that I'm not sure what it is. It cones and goes tho.
