I removed the GT emblem from the decklid and covered the Ford oval with the running pony decal, and I'm really happy with the way it looks:

My question is, before I did this, I was planning to remove the oval 281 fender badges and replace them with V6 ponies, but now I'm kinda thinking they go with the oval pony on the back, so what do you guys think would look better?

i have the same pony thing...we can be in our own group. :drunk:

i would get the fender ponies and paint the stripes a different color instead of the red,white,blue...i have seen quite a few people do it and it looks awesome

I forgot to post the pic of the fender emblems:

I am planning to be emblemless eventually, but thanks to the 2 f'n holes Ford put in the fenders under the old GT badges  it's not an option now. And if I get the V6 ponies, I was planning to paint the stripes black.

Kinda hard to make out. Got a closer pic? I like the pony on the rear. Might do that myself.

When i had my f-150
I did the shave. It isn't hard at all.
Just get yourself a nickle or a dime. (Im not kidding when i say this)
on my f-150 it was a nickle i believe.
It fit perfectly into the hole.
Do alittle welding and bam there you go!!
Instead of having to fill the holes and get it smoth it can work out great.
BUT, I didn't do it due to the fact the body man insistead on fixing it himself.
I ended up with endless body work.
So be carefull if you do.
Why did i sell that truck... it was so beautifull.
Somone kick me...

:p lol kool. I dunno if the holes on the mustangs are endented or not. My truck was. why a nickle went right into place. But if the holes are flat, your probly better of just tacking them up and smoothing it out. If and or when you do it.
