I recently changed the rear gears to 4.10 in my 1996 cobra 5 speed. Is it true there is a way to change speedometer gearing electronicly with out pulling out speedometer gear sin the tail shaft.

I keep seeing that the handheld tuners can correct your speedometer. I have no experience doing this tho.

The 99+ can have the speedo corrected through the tune. The 96-98 either need a new gear or the Speed-Cal. I'd go with the gear personally.

That white 4.10 Speedo gear will get chewed up and put a bunch of plastic into the trans oil.

Put the stock one back in and get a speedcal
