Chassis vacuum hose routing

There's a ⅜ vacuum line coming off the intake manifold just behind the TB (01 3.8 convertible) that hops over the EGR tube to the passenger side, ducks down along side the accumulator, then disappears aft, who knows where. I'm guessing this is the chassis vacuum hose that feeds the heater/AC controls. Anybody know how this is routed, where it appears inside the passenger compartment, if it does? It's not visible behind the glove box, nor under the top 3" or so of carpet. It looks as though access will require removing the inner fender liner unless I can find it inside and follow it through the firewall. It's getting kind of crumbly from years of EGR tube heat, will need replacing soon, or at least that part of it. Or is this the vacuum to the evap cannister?

Anybody know? anybody??? Always good to ask before tearing things apart.

OK, I was wrong, it's the vacuum line to the evap canister. easy fix. why does this damned thing insist on changing "evap" to "eval", though? I have to go back and fix the spelling.

rant off
