I just pulled the codes out of my car and i had one P0402, EGR excessive Flow and one P0171, System too Lean bank one. I have been told to replace the DBFE to fix the P0402, but i have no clue what to do about the being too lean one. Anyone have some suggestions? And what exaclty is a DBFE?

the DPFE ( delta pressure feedback sensor EGR) measures the amount of EGR gasses flowing into the intake. how's the driving quality? injector that can't flow well, to a bad 02 sensor, to a bad egr, or even a vaccum leak.

If your running lean on bank one 80% of the time o2's. My buddy after install his MAC catback came up with a code for bank 1 and 2. We replaced the o2's and the code went away.

you'll need a scanner. you can go to autozone and have your car scanned for free.
