Hello team, I currently have clear corner lights with these amber circles and they really bug me. I’m in Canada and can’t seem to find any ones that are just chrome with no amber reflectors…. I know they exists tho plenty of people run them. anyone know where I could get some. Also debating modifying myself but there cheap enough that I rather just order a new pair and not have to deal with the adhesive mess.

I have a set on my car. I'm very particular about my corner lights.
Must be clear...no bike reflector, no amber reflector, and clear/chrome bulbs (not amber).
This way you get the full clear affect.

I have owned a few sets over the years. Always found them on eBay.

Same. A few sets. All on eBay. They were good for a couple years, then the black weatherstripping would disintegrate. I’m on my first set of one piece now. They’re alright, but have the amber markers, and I can’t really drive at night. I bought the tool, even brought it to professionals who aimed them for free, and still couldn’t get it to where they needed to be.

Seems like whatever company is producing these now is sticking that silly little amber marker inside the lens. I can find tons for sale, but they are all this design under different brands.

Given the price, i might be tempted to separate the housing to try and remove that amber part, or perhaps I can go in through the bulb socket hole and break it loose and cut it up and remove.

I’ve recently had very good success with 1Aauto.com , so if eBay doesn’t pan out, it may be worth your time to take a look and see. I’ve been very happy and impressed with the quality, fitment and packaging/shipping of them. Prices seem fair as well.

You’re not able to remove it from the bulb socket because the amber piece dosent go back through that little hole ……

I even tried doing “cobra style” and put the OEM corners back in . But chrome just looks better in my opinion

I am sure it is some gov standard that they have to meet. You probably could reach in with a pick and pry it off and then the only question is if the adhesive or tab under it is ugly.

Right. That's why i said I would have to try to break it loose and then see if i can reach in with snips to break it up so that it does fit.

Something like this to break it up

Hello sn95 brothers, if anyone runs into this cosmetic issue. It is possible to remove the amber/bike reflector from the bulb. The process consists of heating the back of the headlight on the other side of the amber with a heat gun. I used a flat head and did scratch the inside of my headlight very minimally because I’m not to worried about the damage but recommend to maybe use a plastic removal tool if there is one that’s long and skinny. Unexpected the amber piece flew off and left a very thin line of adhesive. (Not even noticeable). Than proceed to cut the amber piece up with any cutting tool I used a pair of cutting pliers…. That being said the amber material is very thin can use scissors. I couldn’t be happier with how easy of removal this was as you can tell above I was ready to buy another set or remove the lens. Thank you sn95 brothers and forum team for helping me out. Now to get chrome bulbs as mentioned above to give it that desired clear look.

Thank you,
Best of luck

Dang I see that and I think that if I were to engrave a piece of acrylic with my laser and put in there, the design would light up with the light but look fairly normal till them.... How big is the circle just out of curiosity?
