It sucked air through a cowl hood with the intake at the high pressure area by the windshield....it really flows a lot of air too! Better than the Cobra intakes...good design. Ask Matt Heyde for more info.... Or Ryan The Roushinator!!

Pretty cool lookin design. Sounds like it and trick flow stuff is comparable in power numbers.
