i also have an intake gasket leak as well

mine is blown! you think that may be why im running rich? iono but i gotta get it replaced because my car runs likeeeeeeeeeeeee crappppp! :'(

wanna have an intake gasket replacing party? ill drink the beer, you can fix the cars?

ok got everything out for tomm. its ready to drain oil, remove rear seal, put new rear seal in. New flywheel, new clutch, pressure plate TOB, PB and put everything back together

The Clutch

Pressure plate

backside of flywheel (that meets engine block)

Front of the flywheel that meets the clutch

Flywheel plate

Rear main seal

updates will come midday tomm.

so are there any bad things in those pics? reasons causing the dead clutch or rear main seal? sorry but i dont have much experience in stuff like this.

just replaced mine and rear main is still leaking any daylight pics of your car? Looks awesome, my tint is the same. I love it, got it on my truck too. :thumb:

great pics Paul, your clutch has seen better days thats for sure it is cut up pretty good.........the new one should hold MUCH better. Keep the pics coming

Okie dokie fellas,

woke up this morning went to some autoparts stores. Dropped $150 on Royal purple ATF and misc items to make this a little easier. yall should see my piolit bearing and throw out bearing..

plans for today are...

Drain oil (in progress)
Pull Piolit bearing (done)
Remove rear main seal (being a bitch to get out)
Put new seal in

Go get new clutch set up with new flywheel.
and haul balls to get everything back together. wish me luck i will need it.

As it sits now..

Im waiting for a phone call from HPP if they can get me the flywheel and clutch today they are getting me a RAM heavy duty clutch.

Rear main seal lubed and installed
Oil pan buttoned back up awaiting oil

Throw out bearing

Piolit bearing

Both of these sound HORRIBLE when i rotate them :nonono:

Then i had a visitor, murphy said she wanted to help

i use to have a chow that was almost all white and a little tan and had a purple tongue and nose. but my mom gave him away when i was gone for the summer...

ok guys,

no picture updates tonight, im exhausted and can barley stand. The new Piolit bearing, rear seal, new billet flywheel, ram clutch, prssure plate, and bell housing is on. Now im stuck trying to get that heavy POS t5 back in the car. unfortunatley all my friends are busy so i cant find anyone close to help me out. Hopefully she will be alive tomm.

Whats left..

Put the tranny in
Put tranny crossmember in
Bolt tranny up
Put driveshaft back in
Plug in tranny connectors
Fill tranny with Royal Purple
Put shifter back on
Put exhaust back on

Nice job, you'll like a beefier clutch.

I agree with you, it's a PITA to get into stuff like that, but once you do, it's nice to see it go together.
