i saw one a couple weeks ago goin down the interstate.. he did the ricer flyby on me then proceeded to slow down and i see a hand come out the pass. window and started patting the roof at me..
needless to say, he got spun past @ 80mph.. i saw him yesterday when i was getting gas and he walked up and asked if i raced a cobalt like his a couple weeks ago. I lauged and said "no, but i raped one" he said that it was him and my car sounded like a f'n animal when i spun past him and i left black marks for a couple hundred feet....
Yea.. there slow.. my buddies bolton 97GT outran one the other day.

There quit fast for a four banger...lots of torque... But I say the Mazdaspeed 3 and the Neon srt-4 are mush faster...

yea you gotta love toying with them.. but i have the issue of doing rolling burnouts anytime i'm at full boost and more than 3/4 throttle.. So i've just gotten in the habbit of doing the rolling burnout beside them and holding the brake just enough to keep from spinning past them like the car in back to the future. makes for a awesome "holy shit" look on their faces. hahaha. Now i need to get some tires

haven't raced one bot i DO know they're not all supercharged. how to tell at a quick glance-- if the rear spoiler is a short one(height wise) it's not supercharged. tall spoiler, supercharged. i think the sc versions run 205 hp i believe. without the sc they couldn't fall out of a tree. i know the v8 grand prixs(gxp) will rape you. baaad. they're not sc either.

yea i drove one the other day, i was like ..... v8 pontiac grand pre huh...gotta be a small 4. something v8 but damn a 5.3 front wheel drive monster is what that sucker is.......scarry torque

a wing is not a good way to tell whether or not it is the supercharged one...i know like 287394852 SRT4s that are wingless and look like neons with the exception of the wheels.white98gt said:

the reason they say that is that superchargers take power to make power unlike turbos and they think that when you take 4 cylender power away that you left with nothing........i guess they don't relize that 4 bangers are now making as much power as our v8's.....sad but true.
i'm not talkin about neons. from the factory on cobalt ss's wing height is how you tell the difference at a quick glance whether it's sc or not. i should know, i work on them quite a bit. i'm not talkin about whether someone takes off the wing or not, just how they come from the factory. :thumb:DFG_Pimpin said:

im confused at what the point of the cavalier thing is?..are you saying it should run faster? sounds about right to me...considering it probably runs about a 16 flat stock..
well maybe a bone stock non pi gt...but my non pi with only 3.73s and longtubes and through auto spanked one
