I am probably going to order my hood this week and just want to be sure I get the right one as it seems like there might be some small differences. When I do a search for "cobra R hood" I see this:

And I also see this

I like how the 1rst one has the more gentle rise on on the cowl and want to make sure I get it, but the pics I look at its hard to tell which one it is....
This one looks like it doesn't have the cowl on it.

This one looks like its the more drastic rise that I don't like, and I don't see any other options with carbon fiber.

Yea what style are you looking for Scott. The one with the vents as Chris said is the 00R, the other one you posted is a 95R

by vents I assume you mean the standard hood vents on the 1rst one and not the louvers in the middle right? I can find both styles under each search is why I am confused...

I know the 2000 has the vents in the center, but some have a more drastic/concave rise to the cowl. Unlike the one in the 1rs pic that has the standard concave rise that the stock hood has, but then the 2nd rise is convex and smoother. I like the smoother one with the convex rise but it seems with 2000 cobra R hood you can find either way.

I am doing tons of research on this as well and the Boss inc Hood goes up very high compared to other 00 R hoods. IMO the Boss Inc hood looks really strange and I would only run one if you needed that much clearance by your intake. The one I like is Cervinis however just because it states its an 00r hood does not mean it looks like others so look at every inch and many photos by the same manufacturer. Do a google search as Ive read that some carbon fiber hoods by a certain vendor have fallen apart and the Boss Inc hood's top skin coming off with the bottom skin still latched to car. Could of been corrected by now but I would follow up regardless.

That looks great. I wonder why they can't produce a bumper like that.

Which manufacturer did you go with and how much did you end up paying as I have seen prices from 450 to 1k from same hood maker.
