Looks familiar, did mine a few months back, actually ran a little better, although everything looked good. Did mine at 86K. I used Motorcraft Plugs and NGK COPS(great price and quality). It was easier than I thought, thought it might be better to remove the fuel rails but is wasn't necessary.

Just an fyi for anyone that doesn’t know, Denso was the stock supplier for coils. Not directing that at you Neuron just wanted to throw that out there since they were mentioned. How are the NGK’s holding up? CliffyK did a test of stock style coils years ago. It seems oem performed the best but he did say that most are made by the same company. I guess there’s only one or two suppliers. Kind of makes it moot to buy oem but I’m picky about them.

No problems with them, several friends have used them for a while with no problems. OEM just a ridiculous price. Got Denso's for the Focus for a good price. I liked the boot rubber on the NGK COPS.

Good to know, they’re slightly cheaper than Denso’s are on rock auto. Now I know there’s another good brand out there.

Interesting link I’ve been holding onto for a while

Interesting Article. I tried rebuilding the COPS on the Focus, new springs and boots, checked resistance etc(new plugs too). No help with miss under hard acceleration with a load(going up some steep hills etc.). Finally just gave in and bought some from Rock Auto, problem solved.

How many miles are on those plugs? They don’t look bad, maybe a little worn but not bad.
Honestly, not sure. I bought it recently and it's in roooooough shape. ODO says 131140 miles, but idk (does the odo still track mileage when it's dimmed out(needs solder joint fixed)) Spark plugs looked surprisingly decent with the exception of some of the threads had a bunch of junk in them.

I replaced mine with accel streetfires. Wish I'd have known about some cheap denso's instead. One of my OE coils had a broken off ear as seen in the pic.

Anyone got a lead on cheap injectors?

I also took some videos / pics of the borescope going into each cylinder. Didn't see much of note though.

The ecu stores mileage so yes even when it’s dim it’ll still record.

When you can afford to dump those coils. I wouldn’t run any aftermarket coils myself, they’re gimmicky and quality is hit or miss.

I'm running no name coils from Amazon. They work way better than the old OEM ones. I mixed and matched 16 Oem coils with new Boots and still had a miss fire. New coils, no issues. These were supposed to be 15% more energy.
