Tomorrow. I'm taking my Hi-Ports to my builder to get em on the flow bench. He'll give me the thumbs up or down.
Mind you, my Hi-Ports are no slouches. They have a lot of porting done to them and have 2.08 intakes. They ain't little.
The bottom line is that the Yates might end up being cheaper if I sell my Hi Ports. The difference being that I can get the Jesel shaft rockers for Yates heads used from Roush for $700 . . but they are $1,600 if I have to buy them new for the Hi Ports. It looks like I can work a deal on the Yates heads and intake that might actually make sense.
And then there is the cool factor of having a pair of Yates C3s that were ported and prepped for NASCAR use by Roush Racing.
