Connecting the Vortech bypass valve

For the Vortech bypass valve, the long hose goes too the powerpipe, where does the bottom shorter end hose connects too?

the bottom goes into the pipe between the supercharger and the intake. The stock plastic intake has spot on the bottom to plug it in .
