I have been having the same problem. I finally found it leaking around my drain cock on my radiator. Look there see what it is.

Could you see if it was going out your overflow? If you have no leaks then ( I hope im wrong ) you have a blown headgasket. Same thing happened to my car but because of the s/c it blew out hard. Did you check the thermostat before you put it in? Bad ones are common. Put it in some boiling water and see if it opens.

You're car is either A) Leaking somewhere or B) just purging out the rest of the air. When you filled the car back up with coolant, where did you fill it at?

I believe your cooling system is just purging out trapped air. Keep topping it off for a few days. It should stabilize.

yup it just had a lot of air in the system. Some people have had problems getting all the air pockets out of the system (because the radiator cap is not the highest point in the system) and if you are just jack up the front passenger side so the radiator cap is higher than the rest of the system. works like a charm O0

TIP: When you guys do any maintainence of the cooling system, the BEST way to fill it back up is to remove the coolant temp sensor for the gauge on the driver's side lower intake and fill the block up all the way to the top. Then fill up the radiator, then add some coolant to the overflow tank. START THE CAR with the radiator cap OFF and let it warm up. YOU HAVE TO WARM THE CAR UP UNTIL THE THERMOSTAT OPENS! THIS TAKES AWHILE! Check the upper hose on the radiator. When it starts to get warm, that means its open.....watch the radiator level. Start to top it off...when it starts to over flow, close it off....you're good. It might drop a lil more as the air purges out just top it off.
