Just realized my car has a slow coolant leak coming from around the intake manifold or maybe the coolant crossover... I know that our intake manifolds are notoriously weak (or at least I've heard that). Anyone else had any problems like this? if so, what'd you do to fix it? I'll be taking the manifold off tonight or tomrw to get a better look at whats going on. If anyone has info, help woudl be appreciated...

Honestly bro it would more benefical in the long run to get the P.I. Intake with the aluminum crossover. You can get the fairly cheap used and new I know Livernois has the entire kit brand new for 499.99. Will save you tons of head aches in the long run and also give your pony some extra power. Good luck!

which is the part that is known to crack, the crossover or the intake itself?

Both.... Common problems are when the intake blows a tiny little pin whole and coolant gets in the intake and you will see white smoke coming out the rear. When the crossover goes its been known to see it leak on the block.

Mine cracked along one of the holes for the thermostat housing bolts.
