My coolant level light is on all the time. I have been keeping an eye on the level and it is fine, not changing. The sensor is part of the tank and not replaceable. It is more than I want to spend to get a new one. Has anyone got a alternate idea? I could do the electrical tape over the light, but like the idea of having it work just in case.

Wow!
Sometimes these post slip by and no one responds.....kinda weird!

Anyhow, the coolant level light and sensor is a thing with these cars. My light remains on as well regardless of coolant level. I believe it a sensor issue and if i remember correctly the sensors float can be visually seen when opening the tank cap. Try moving the float up and hold it there with a wire or something to its top position, mimicking full and see if the light goes out.
