anyone want to help me out with this one? Please. Its a 2002 GT. I have reason to believe that this sensor has gone bad. I have a new sensor, but I am not 100% sure where the sensor is located. I believe it is located on the driver side head located behind the alternator. but like I said I am not 100% sure on this and I couldn't really find any good info on the location looking around the web.

Yes, it's right behind the alternator.

Wow, sorry to resurrect a 7 year old thread, but does anyone know what the NPT size of the sensor is? I'm looking to get an additional gauge that shows the actual temperature in degrees, and was planning on keeping the original sensor and using a Tee fitting for the additional gauge. I think it's 3/8 NPT, but haven't pulled the sensor yet to verify.

To close the loop, it is indeed a 3/8 NPT fitting.
