Got a set of AFR heads on my 95. Put a manual gauge in it, and rolling down the road it'll run around 200*, but will reach 220* before the cooling fan comes on. the car will then get back down around 200*. Is this correct, don't want to warp heads. Thanks

yes thats correct for your factory setup. The fans aren't programmed in the ECU to come on until then. You can run a 180 degree thermostat and either have your car tuned to turn the fans on at 180 OR run a manual fan swtich (see the sticky above). You can also run a thermally controled switch to activate the fan as well. Its all in the above sticky.
