One is a few hundred miles on $500 shipped (guessing they are off LRS or something as he said they were practically new)

Shipping is the biotch. The rest will buy my alignment...damn potholes, I'm rubbing on the DS under full lock now.
Haven't gotten to it yet, weather is eww and the apartment has strict rules on working on cars.
So I have to go rent a storage unit.
Then when everything comes in...read and read, and work up the nerve to pull my heads.
If the cams were as simple as the cam on a 5.0 I'd have no hesitation.
But must admit, seems daunting.

Oh sorry used to silly Army abbreviations.
No Driver Side.

Under full lock to the left it rubs. And tends to pull right going straight, it's all coming from the Driver side though, if you look at it, you can visually see it's a bit canted as opposed to the Passenger side.
Hasn't gone through my shield, but it's rubbing.

I figure tomorrow I'm gonna get a quote regardless.

But to the orignal question on the heads.
Honestly as long as I clear 100 after shipping, That will buy something:p

Does se it sound like rubber from the tire on the fender well or metal from the wheel on the sway bar? It could be a tiny bit out of whack. Also depending on what tire your running it could run wide also.

Since it only rubs under full lock, I haven't done any sharp turning, and a lot of wide lefts to avoid further damage.

But when it did happen it sounded like a dull scratching, rubber on plastic. I just checked the tire, it shows some where on a spot or two, basically the 2-3 times I've actually rubbed. But the location on the splash guard is solid. I didn't look much deeper, just figured a $40 dollar alignment would do.

I'm more pissed about the chip in my windshield I got yesterday.
I just snowed, so if it clears up I'll go look.

But I figured since the shop offers free looks and estimates, I'd let him have a look while I was across the street anyway doing school paperwork.
He already offered $100 for a full suspension swap. Assuming I brought in the parts.

I've seen the Corvette he works on, so I figure it's cheaper than buying all the tools and stuff I'd need, and less hassle from annoying neighbors calling the manager.

1200 for a bullitt intake...comes with everything.
damn that's expensive for a better torque curve.

Probably the fender liner on the driver side where the washer take provision sits.

Yep, right around there, hasn't gone through, but I caught it in time to start widening my turns.

Sucks turning like a semi to go left, but better safe than sorry.

I won't be going to the shop til a few things on Corral work themselves out.
..spending way too much time over on the classifieds.
