Wondering the cost of a Coyote Swap into an '02 GT. I guess worst case scenario where you have to buy everything new and do most/all the work yourself except any normal outsourcing for the build. I am mainly wondering about those unplanned for things plus the usual costs.

Kmember, headers, engine, harness, electronic foot accelerator.....i would think $8000 for all new parts.

We have a few coyote swap guys. They will chime in

Aware of that for a few decades now.

:) I tagged the member “neverenuf” who has completed a coyote swap and will have an answer for your question.

Embarrassed maybe, I noticed on other Forums the OP was reticent about sharing the final tally too.

I'm hovering around the 6200 mark with a 4.6 4V swap so i'd imagine you'd be north of there with the addition* of the FRPP control pack [1000+ alone]

In for any numbers. This is really starting to appeal to me. I feel like I might be a lazy one and just drop it off somewhere and say "ok coyote pls" because I might lose interest if it sits in my driveway and takes a long time.

Was just talking with the boss about it tonight actually.

Neuron, a little late but your $8k is a good start. It should net an gen II engine (stronger bottom end, better heads), control pack and a decent fuel system. I ran into the limitations of a stock T-45 and a decent clutch for d/d. A t-56 and a decent flywheel/clutch will cost $4k. If you have a built trans, you are ahead of the game. Go for billet ops/crank sprocket while the engine is out. There are many swap options out there now and none will disappoint!
