I have a 95 5.0 that is having a couple issues right now. The first is that it is running rich like crazy( bout 10 mpg) and all i have is bolt-ons. The second is sometimes when im driving down the road it will just shut off on me, it has done this twice on me. Then i go to start it back up and it just turns over but doesnt start. If i sit there and let it cool down it will start right back up and then no issues.. The third is sometimes when i go to start it, it takes a while like it doesnt want to start, but then it starts.. But it hesitates..

What could be causing this? I had a msd blaster 2 coil on it but now a stock one could that be why it hesitates to start??? Should i go back to the msd?

It could be a number of things but i'd start with checking and cleaning. Check TPS, clean the IAC, clean the MAF. You didn't list your mods completely. I'd also look in to replacing the coolant temp, and inlet air temp sensors (they're cheap insurance). Its could also be O2's as well but those are more exspensive so i'd hold off until you've exhausted all other resources.

Are there any check engine lights and or what are ALL your mods.

it threw the check engine light last night on my way home but it only stayed on for about 5 mins then went right back off.

I'm going to throw this out there... don't know if you'll go for it, but uh... I'll give you $5 for all your problems and the car? ok, no? no seriously... i would check the IAC, i would even check and clean out the Throttle body, put the MSD coil back on, and see if that does anything... it could be that simple... just replace the blaster coil back to what it was, and then if that doesn't work, go from there...

I am newbie to this board, but you may want to look at your TFI module. My father has a 1995 GT with some mods and about 85,000 miles of heavy use. After his A/C fried on the freeway the car started having issues dying in traffic and sometimes spontaneously while driving (it would pick back up but the car would jolt for brief second). We tried everything, but in the end it was the TFI module.

Try this: http://accel-ignition.com/ProductDe...e=Select+Aspiration&brandName=ACCEL&BrandId=3

Accel TFI Remote Mount Module. My Dad installed it and has put on countless trips to San Diego and back with the car in all types of weather wihtout any issues at all. $50 well spent.

BTW: Nice forum!

It says right on the t/b DO NOT CLEAN. I have heard there is a protective coating on it.

Check the fuel pressure when you shut it off. If it bleeds down to nothing withinn a minute or 2, you have sticking injectors.
