Just got the motor in and running on the 94. I notice the speedo works the same as the tach. Any suggestions?

Ha, that's a first I've heard.

The speedo runs off the worm gear on the output shaft and turns the gear on the speed sensor, I'm not sure how that could happen. Interested to see what comes of this though.

'94 speedo is electronic. VVS sensor from the transmission. The VSS signal is sent to the ECU and the speedo transducer. As the speedo moves it turns a gear that moves the odometer. There is no cable that moves the speedo.

Friggin garbage clusters. Mine barely works. It's probably a short somewhere in the cluster. I think mine has some issue with the voltage regulator.
