CUTTING YOUR CATS OFF X PIPE QUESTION

as title says, do you think its a good idea or not? it's for my bassani x and just wondering if it will be alot louder or will it just sound like crap after cause it soundes awsome right now just not loud enough? for the loacal vancouver guys it didn't pass air care with them on and when dan grey at his shop tested the car he said they weren't really doing much, possiably plugged or something so i just threw the stock h pipe back on and passed.

I have a bassani X pipe w/no cats and my friend has one with two cats. I know mine is louder I would say its almost too loud but I still like it. If you want loud it will sound good I say go for it.
