getting closer!

Next is: fabricate the mounting brackets & mount the IRS.
figure out the backspacing and stuff and order the wheels & tires.
replace the bushings with the Maximum Motorsports jelly beans,
Set the ride height.
Weld off and undercoat the bottom of the car

Rolling Chassis baby ;D

Thanks for the interest everyone.

We're saving up some cash to buy the wheels and tires.
then we set the height and stance of the car.

I'm also going to get the MM bushing kit for the IRS, and swap out the stock softies.

Speaking of the SN65 guys, they sell fender flairs and a bunch of other stuff.
we're probably going to get their flairs and look into some other sutff. :)

Im no car genuis, but shouldnt you wait until you have the interior, motor, and tranny is to set the ride heighth?

I mean the weight of all that is gonna change how it sits, right?

I have the motor and tranney, and the interior is no big deal.
with the coil overs I can change the height, I'm more concerned with spacing for the flaris and getting the tires nice and flush.
See if we need to mess with the inner wells, and make it a rolling chassis.

Thanks guys. I haven't done much since the motor came out of my 96.
I'm looking at the fender flaris the SN65 guys sell.
I think that would be a sweet addition.
they're for 65-66, but I think I can make them fit >:D

Thanks Matt and Mr Jones.

this has been the summer of the 96, but it see some work starting up on the 67 about 2 months.
One thing I'm going to look into doing is cutting the front mount/grill/headlights out of an 05 and fitting them into this car.
I think it will match looks wise, and look better than the other 67 front ends - which I don't really like.
Plus better HL quality :)

you would certainly be the only one with that lol, idk tho i don't think it would match very well with the lines and overall classic look
