Havn't decided yet. havn't done anything on it this summer. been busy with the "other" car :)

Knowing me, probably not the shelby's.
I tend to steer away from the main stream.

thanks for the comps :)

Just read through this and I have to say, you've got a badass ride in the works here :santa_afro:

I've seen other classics with IRS and the Mustang II IFS and those guys usually end up going with modular power. Nice to see someone using what I've always viewed as the God of Ford Motors

Great work so far, and I can't wait to see this finished!

of all the mustangs out there, my absolute favorite is the 67-68 fastbacks. and the fact that your putting in a cleveland is even better. i just sold my 70 4bbl cleveland to my neighbor. awesome car/s you have going on. i love the cleveland and you never see them and they can make huge power with the stock heads with a lil massaging to them.

I hope to find one of these, they're pretty rare to find in as good of shape as urs was. How much did you pay for it?

Thanks Future9er - I'm 'cited to get back on it.
I just liked the nastalga of a C in a fastback. :coolsmiley:

thank you fastgtrairlane, I like that body as well. we're going a bit custome as well, not too crazy, but something clean, like how my 96 turned out. I massaged those heads good. they should gain about 100 HP from just the headwork.

Thanks reality, it wasn't too bad. I paid 4K for it.

hmmmm, what color is the car gonna be?

i'd probably go with the shelbys, the foose's look a little too radical. i'd have to see the car to be sure though

how much do those cost per rim?

The mustang will probably be a metalic silver/gray, but that's not set in stone.

the Foose wheels are on sale right now...

hmmm, this is a tough choice....
Matt, I don't want Craigers, everyone and their dog has craigers on old muscle cars.

Who thinks 20's are too big?

oh god. way too much. go with some 17's in front 18s in back at the most IMO

I'd probably slap some magnum 500's on there or cragars.

I think that anything bigger than a 15" wheel is to big for the old cars. I most likely will be going with a 14" wheel.
