thanks guys.

I appreciate the comps. I'm trying to find info on the cobra heat extractor vent that in-lays flush with the hood - i've seen some of you guys put on the SN hood.
can someone point me in the right direction? need dimensions.

10+ GT500 vent is what you are looking for... but with the work on this car, I think it would look way out of place. Just my opinion, but with as much metal work as you've got going on, I feel like a tacked on piece of plastic on the hood would look goofy.

I think a set of way less aggresive, with a little more curve vents like these built off of the turn signal spots in the hood would be pimp and flow more with the car.

Thanks guys!

The hood is so awesome man!

THanks Jer, i'm liking how it's looking :)

Dalamar looks killer! That stance tho!! Can't wait for paint and firing. What do you think about polycarbonate window on the hood like this:

Thanks for posting this Nevernuff!
I checked into it and here's how it will fit size wise:
The cardboard cutout is the window size exactly.

this is interesting, thanks Man....
there's plenty of room in front of this motor to have the hood vent down behind the radiator.....

Duh is right on with this, thanks again for the info man!

I read through Replica's thread on heat extraction and his info on actual heat extraction and thermal cooling is correct and intuitive.
Modifying the hood like the Agent hood would actually vent some of the hot air coming out of the radiator, thus cooling the engine bay and would also have less air forced under the car... ie less heat/less lift..... I'll be checking into the feasibility of this on our car.

My radiator is actually dual core, so in theory, the vents could extract the air from the upper core, and the lower core would exit hot air into the bay.... 50% less hot air into the engine bay... I like the sound of that.

I would change 2 things on the agent car.
1- black chrome the windshield trim.
2- round off or angle the hood scoop lines. curvy car lines with a dead straight line across the front looks a little patchy.
otherwise, sweet race car!!

I haven't checked in on this thread in a while... WOW! This car has surpassed even what I thought. Truly great work.
