I have ALWAYS used Tire Wet, it goes on the tires but u can also use it on your interior, it gives it a nice shine.
I still like the armor all product line, after detailing my car with it, this old guy asked me if the car was new, he was amazed when I told him it had 130,000 on it.
I still have armor all in my box of detail stuff, I just never use it any more. I was first introduced to Tire Wet at a auto show in Jacksonville a few years ago and have used it ever since. I get it in the spray can but it comes in a "heavy liquid" pump bottle also.
Do you use a cloth/paper towel to apply it? It sounds interesting, might have to run over to advance auto or surf the net.
I just use regular rags (like the bag-o-rags from advance auto parts) put it on the rag and then rub it on the tires. Its great stuff, it will last thru the rain and a few car washes. Like I said you can use it on your interior also, it has sort of a sweet smell so it is kind of a air freshener also. Try it you will like it, I know I do.
I LOVE Meguires Hot Shine in the aresol can, you can adjust the spray thickness if you have lowpros etc so you dont get it on your rims and it lasts so long, quick and easy, and it smells hella good too
i keep my tires and customer's tires black by scrubbing them with a medium stiff brush and simple green. this is the tire dressing we use... i know you'll like it! Ultra Blue Tire Dressing
i used everything and black magic works the best. buy the one that foams up.the other one doesnt work as well.
