Dead gauge cluster, car won’t start.

So no pinout but I tested each wire on the gauge cluster harness with a volt meter and verified that it has a good ground connection and is in fact supplying 12v switched consistently. I tried swapping 2 other clusters again and they worked fine but my stock one didn’t. I’ve had the pcb repaired before but looks like it’s acting up again.

I cleaned the contacts on the surface mount chip that stores the pats info and etc and got the car running again. Seems to run and drive fine for as long as I don’t turn off the ignition, when I do then the problem comes up again.

Ill try to get a better look at the contacts under a microscope, they’re so small that a crack in the solder point is optically invisible.
