I hear you guys, but FUNCTION > FORM. If it weren't for my tubular lower chassis brace, she'd sit a little lower. I know how to sit one down, just check out all of my previous SN95's.

You removed your x-brace and put that in?

Who makes that, and is it only for stock k members?

I'm all tubular with coilovers, but when i removed the stock shit i noticed a significant increase in vibration and jigglyness throughout the cowl and front end of the car.

The stock X brace does more then you think lol.

You'd be surprised, stock is better then nothing.

Which is what i have now, nothing.

Oh absolutely. When you were talking about front end vibration issues in your build thread, I was going to recommend this brace for you but I noticed you were all tubular down there. So agreed, it's not junk from a functional standpoint. But it can and has been improved upon.

Battery took a crap on me a few days ago. I went ahead and replaced the burnt stator connector at the alternator harness as it was singed and it couldn't hurt to replace it. If you are wondering which connector I'm speaking of, It's the one to the left of the voltage regulator connector on the alternator. Single wire. I used Motorcraft part number WPT1129 to repair the harness. Alternator is 6 months old and tested good. We have had a week of 95+ degree temps here in GA so I'm sure that was a leading factor. Battery was 6 mos old as well, but it was just a standard parts house battery. Luckily WorldPac issued me a 100% credit for the defective battery. Decided to replace with an Optima 34/78 AGM instead of a standard wet battery. Car cranks very swiftly and voltage is now very stable even with under-drive pulleys.

I'm gonna gonna with steedas new system but idk if my timing adjuster will work with the udps

I don't see why it wouldn't? You should be fine. And nice choice by the way. They are SFI approved and all. I'd love to have the Steeda crank pulley/balancer.

the size of the pulley and how far out the adjuster are what make me worry about fitment. im guessing if it fits itll look something like this though

Noticed the brand new Optima struggle to crank the car this morning and found the alternator buzzing with the key off engine off. Voltage regulator was stuck on stupid draining the battery down as it sat overnight. Got to work and ordered a Bosch reman alternator. Couldn't get my hands on a Motorcraft in the time frame I was working with. Replaced the defective alternator and all is well.
