Also on a side note, I am excited to say that I have confirmed that the original owner did PI swap my stang. He originally told me he swapped the top end off an 04 mustang and i just checked today and here's the part #RF-1L2E-6090 D24D on the passenger head

How's the PI swap run compared to a stock NPI in your opinion? I'm considering seeking out some PI heads for next winters build if it is worth it. Otherwise I'm going to look for a supercharger to go with my npi heads

Honestly I can't say, I have never driven a npi mustang before and mine is already pi swapped. I haven't even really pushed mine yet either because i'm still checking everything making sure it's ready, so I really have no clue, but if it pulls anywhere as good as my 2000 GT did then I will be happy.

Score you'd be glad he did it, I've never really rode in an NPI gt until I bought my 98. As soon as I got it home from purchasing the engine was on its way out replaced by a PI engine :)

looks great man. I just added a front chin spoiler to mine. Kinda freaked out that I am going to rip it off somehow :sad5:

There is no way in hell you will rip that chin spoiler off, unless you try to climb a small mountain.. that thing is a 4x4!!!

I've always been told that's the only way to have a 96-98 gt if it's PI swapped lol. And i'm glad he already did it too because otherwise that would have had to be done immediately.

Not really of an update but cleaned the engine bay up a little more and organized some of the wiring, also cleared the panel with the signature on it to protect it better.

And those cobras that were on the car with no tires are an extra set that I have, not the wheels with the tires on them

So took a couple more pics of the car today with the new wheels on, it's sitting a little funny today because my front passenger side tire has a slow leak in it so it's low

Ok guys so I purchased a new cobra wheel because one of the rims had a small crack on the back side that had a small air leak, so when I got my new rim in I mounted it on the car but noticed that it looked slightly different than the other ones I have. I then jumped online to see if the other wheels I had are authentic cobras and so far I am getting that they are but what do you guys say? Are there any distinctive markings I should look for on the others? This is the new replica wheel I bought

Thanks guys, I am much happier with these wheels. The others were an eye sore if you ask me, they were plasti dipped black but were originally chrome so if you looked at them closely they were pitting really bad. I was the only one that knew this, and everyone else thought they looked great but these are much cleaner.

Now its time to bring her down.....
Yea i know I want it dropped more than it is, but it's actually on lowering springs now. I believe they are steeda brand since the previous owner was obsessed with steeda or maybe eibachs but there blue and pretty thick springs just not low enough
