my friend has a 04 GT thats got full exhaust and some suspension
and he barely beat me out....just saying if he got beat that it wasnt PI...
in all reality a NPI to PI conversion car will outrun a normal PI car...
did that make any sense?
+1 all npi currently..with l/t and superchips tune..side by side untill 3rd gear with 01 slp exhaust 5 speed gt...im auto too...

if NPI guys are beating PI guys, someone needs to do the driver mod in their car. :hammer:
the 03 GT I raced was an ATX.
Back when I raced a 2000 GT, 5-speed i was full bolt ons and he had midpipe, catback, intake, and tuned and he pulled by about 3/4 of a car...im also auto, but i did have full bolt ons (meaning brand new street tires, gears, shift kit, tranny cooler, cai, udp's, throttle body, plenum, longtubes, midpipe, catback)...so yeah it does take a bit more work to a non pi car to get to where the PI's are...but by swapping the intake/cams you should pretty much be neck and neck
I was installing my steeda clutch cable kit and discovered a magical sticker on my driver side head... it said "PI" on the upc and a manufacture date of 02
