I picked up some aftermarket seats and I curious as how everyone else has done their bracket system under there's so everything works righand has functionally. Any drawing pictures plates that would help I would appreciate this.
I bought corbeau bases and then drilled new holes to work with the seats, this way I could assemble everything outside the car then simply bolt them in
I got corbeaus but got them with the kit to fit my car. Its not cheap but I would not try to rig up you seat its too important.
Yes, use the manufacturer's rail kit for your application. Also figure out the seat belts/mounting location. Like Scott said, this is all safety stuff so don't skimp or cut corners. Could save your life one day.
I got the Corbeau adapter plates for the Mustang seat tracks and used a manual track on the drivers side.
