Hello guys, I'm from Germany and I apologize in advance for my English! I hope you can help me. I have a 1995 Mustang V6 and the problem is that the Mustang won't start. I have the feeling that it doesn't have the right timing for when it should ignite. It turns over and wants to start, but the last bit is missing so far. A few things have been replaced. Spark plugs - ignition cable - air mass meter - all vacuum lines are in place - fuel filter. Could it be the ignition lock, that it's in there like a kind of immobilizer?

Thank you very much!
Best Regards, Severin

there should not be any alarm on a 95 (stock) that would shut it down after it started. It is possible the pump is supplying enough fuel to start, but then not enough to keep running. Try priming the pump 2x before you start it and see if it runs longer with more pressure. Turn the key to on and count to 5, turn the key off and then right back on and again count to 5 and then start it. If it runs longer, your pump might not be supplying enough pressure

I'd be checking for consistent spark on one or preferably all of the cylinders, but more importantly compression on each cylinder... Could be the ignition coil, please verify the wire are in the correct firing order before doing anything...

Was the car ever running in your possession?!?

Good luck and keep us posted...
