Yeah, looks like you have newer ones. I have the older ones where the baffles werent stopping any oil from passing thru my pcv and filling up my catch can immediately when I was under boost. I fixed it with replacing the pcv with an 2.3 SVO pcv valve and it stopped that issue. So you should be good. I might just go with the upgrade kit myself.

Meant to post this up before now - new gaskets came in finally. I called Darton and they confirmed this was the right gasket for their MID wet sleeves. They collaborated with Cometic with the design so that should do the trick!

Decided to pull the heads back off to install new head studs. I was planning to reuse the previous studs but had some marring on some of the upper threads and started to worry the clamping force might be compromised. Since I already head a new set a ARP head studs it was just a little extra work.

If you take a small ballbearing, drop into the stud hole, it will prevent the studs from bottoming out and causing them to be off angle slightly. Making heads easier to remove and install without much hassle......just saying.

Didn’t want to go through reinstalling the headers - just left them on while prepping for the new studs.

I did. They've been soaking in Royal Purple 5w20 since I got them. Let me think about it, I probably should sell them. I'll let you know.

Not yet, I’d like to work on it today but it’s cold and miserable and raining outside. Oddly enough, I stalled out working on it because it was too hot and miserable out and I was tired of sweat dripping on everything.
