Did the rear tire size (profile) change from 50 to 40 series. Had the 3.55’s put in, did the calculator for the speedo gear correction... and I’m still 5-6 mph faster on the speedometer than my actual speed. Even went to a speedo gear with more teeth when I was 8-10 mph fast. Only brought it back to where I was with the 50-series tire!
Just to make sure: I have a T-5 manual with a 7-tooth, right??? I used LMR’s calculator on their website and ordered the recommended toothed speedo gear. Still off. What gives? Do I need a different driven gear in the tail shaft?

All 94/95 trans have an 8 tooth drive gear. You will need a 23 tooth (aftermarket) driven gear. Or a "calibrator".
You can verify the drive gear by pulling out the speedo cable and shine a light into the trans. 7 tooth is yellow, 8 tooth is a light green colour.
