Been going round and round in my head as to what to do with my interior, thought I was going TMI leathers, and other expensive options. I've kept it clean since I bought it 20 years ago, but the foam has been worn and what not through the years. I went on ebay, found a NOS Seat bottom for a passengers side (the last one the guy had left). I thought maybe I'd buy it and have an upholstery shop convert it to drivers. Turns out, I didn't have to, the foam on both sides are both basically the same, except for some minor trimming. I had to cut a few extra holes because of it being a passenger's side, but man, its so nice to have a brand new seat bottom again. I didn't replace the seat back, but just the ride and comfort of the driver seat, its back!

So I instead of $800 and change for a leather upgrade with foams, $50 to make it feel somewhat new again. Nothing like seeing a sealed bag from 1995 appear at your front door, with that new car smell once you opened it.

Anyway, here's today's project, you can see how bad the original was:
